Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of front-of-house employees.
  • Schedule staff to ensure proper coverage and adherence to labor budgets.
  • Plan, assign, and prioritize work based on the restaurant's needs.
  • Interview, hire, and train new staff members.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Enforce company safety rules and policies.
  • Evaluate and review employee performance.
  • Implement disciplinary actions as necessary.
  • Approve time records and manage overtime.
  • Re-train employees and orient new hires on company policies.
  • Coach and motivate staff to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints.
  • Drive sales and manage labor and food costs.
  • Attend manager meetings and training sessions.
  • Work during weekends, holidays, and peak business periods as required.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a high-volume restaurant.
  • Completion of an internal management training program or equivalent education and experience.
  • Strong mathematical skills.
  • Fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
