What will you do in this job?: Responsible for providing courteous, knowledgeable guest service to gift shop clients. Ensure gift shop
opening and closing procedures are followed in a timely manner. Perform all aspects of sales transactions - Responsible for opening and closing gift shop and completing all shift paperwork
- Provide sales and guest service to gift shop clients
- Perform cash handling and accounting procedures to include verification and reconciliation of shift bank
- Perform sales transactions using Company systems
- Responsible for inventory control and restocking, including maintaining a list of restocking needs
- Clean and organize gift shop and restroom
- Perform other duties as assigned
What skills and experience do you need for this job?: - Excellent communication, in guest service, and telephone etiquette skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and professional demeanor; ability to work effectively and cooperatively
with all levels of management and staff, affiliated-company employees, and outside business associates - Must be a self-starter capable of managing competing priorities and multiple task
- Physical ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to perform frequent standing, walking, repetitive finger, hand and wrist motions, as well
as bending, stooping, reaching, squatting, kneeling, pushing, pulling, climbing ladders - High School Diploma and retail sales experience
