Job Description:

We are seeking an energetic and highly motivated Construction Safety Coordinator for an immediate opening with our well-established construction business. This full-time role is critical to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment across all job sites.

The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a proactive approach to safety enforcement, and the ability to effectively communicate and train employees on safe work practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Visit job sites regularly to monitor and enforce safety standards and regulations.
• Identify potentially dangerous activities, tools, or equipment and take corrective action as necessary.
• Conduct routine safety meetings with staff and subcontractors.
• Provide safety training to employees and ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
• Teach OSHA 10-hour classes (must be certified).
• Take clear and legible notes, photographs, and/or videos for documentation and reporting.
• Prepare and maintain safety inspection reports and records.
• Work collaboratively with site supervisors and project managers to uphold a safe working environment.

Requirements:

• Valid Texas driver’s license and a clean driving record (required).
• OSHA training certification (required).
• Must be certified to train employees and teach OSHA 10-hour safety courses .
• Strong knowledge of construction safety regulations and standards.
• Excellent observation and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
• Basic proficiency with digital devices for taking notes, photos, and video.
