Job Description

Title: Sales Director / Business Development –Video/OTT, Telecom, Tech (Broadcast media and Video / Telecom experience is a MUST).

Our client: We have been retained by a fast-growing firm doing advanced technology and software work in the video and telecom pace, addressing the needs of Hollywood Studios and Networks, as well as telecom providers. We seek a Director Level Sales Executive to sell technology/software services to major studios, networks, broadcasters, and cable/telecom providers. The focus of this role is growing and expanding the business.

Requirements:

  • Senior level Sales experience selling to Broadcasters and Programmers (such as HBO, ABC, NBC, CBS, Showtime, Paramount, Fox etc.), Video service providers (such as Roku, Amazon, Google, Cable and telcos), Telecoms, and Video and Telecom technology providers. Candidates MUST have strong contacts in these industry areas.
  • Experience growing and expanding the business and identifying and closing new customers.
  • Experience selling technology development and software development services
  • Strong business development and sales track record
  • Farming and hunting to establish and grow new accounts
  • Experience selling to senior executives
  • Strong rolodex and industry contacts (TV studios, broadcasters, networks, content providers telecom providers, as well as technology providers for video/telecom.
  • A good understanding of technology and software processes and technology for video and telecom services and technology providers.
  • Leadership skills are a plus, but this role is an individual executive selling role.

Location: Los Angeles, CA or New York City, NY preferred, but other locations will be considered. Remote with travel as needed.

Compensation: DOE - most qualified candidates will currently be earning between $150,000 and 250,000 USD/yr. Base + commission depending on experience and sales results. Full benefits.
