Location : Chicagoland Area (with travel across the region)

Pay : $75k salary + uncapped commission at $100k hurdle

We're looking for our sales partner to continue pushing the boundaries on what we can offer to our customers!

The Role: We’re looking for an entrepreneurial-minded Business Development and Sales Manager (BDSM) to join our dynamic team at Bruiser's Auto. This role will focus on our fleet business customers.

This early hire requires a self starter who wants to think outside the box and execute on your many sales experiments with both a sense of urgency and independence. Eventually, you will help us build out our sales team and processes.

You’ll be working all over the Chicagoland area, from the north side to the south suburbs, building relationships and growing our customer base in one of the most vibrant metro areas in the country. Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Growth : Identify and pursue new business opportunities, particularly within our established fleet division which includes Amazon DSPs, Rivian and other delivery companies across the Chicagoland area.
  • Partnership Building : Develop strong relationships with fleet managers, delivery companies, and other local businesses throughout the Chicagoland region to expand Bruiser’s Auto’s customer base.
  • Top of Funnel Focus : Continue to cram our repair backlog funnel with new repairs that you have cultivated through these partnerships, new and old.
  • Market Intelligence : Be the absolute expert on b2b repair especially as it relates to Amazon and Rivian repairs.
  • Team Collaboration : Work hand-in-hand with our amazing team of technicians and office staff to ensure smooth service delivery and satisfied clients.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven Sales Experience : Ideally, you’ve worked in business development, sales, or a related role, especially in the auto repair, logistics, or fleet maintenance industries. If you’ve worked with Amazon DSPs or other delivery services, that’s a huge plus.
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset : You’re a self-starter with the ability to think creatively and strategically.
  • Ability to Use Technology : We're looking for someone who knows how to use multiple communication platforms to create automated outreach campaigns. At the very minimum this would include a process to track your leads, Mailchimp, email, SMS, and any other sales tools you're familiar with.
  • Strong Relationship Builder : You know how to connect with people and make things happen. Whether it’s over the phone or in person, you can build trust and rapport with clients quickly.
  • Problem-Solving : You can think on your feet and come up with solutions when things don’t go as planned.
  • Passion for Cars & People : You should be someone who genuinely enjoys the auto repair world and has a passion for making sure customers’ vehicles stay in great shape.
