We are seeking a Senior Computer Vision Engineer who is passionate about contributing to this cutting-edge field.

As a crucial member of our team, you’ll be the driving force behind the next generation of smart sensors. Collaborate with brilliant minds across disciplines from around the world, including computer vision engineers, ML engineers, software developers, sensor design engineers, systems engineers, firmware developers, and product/test engineers. Together, you’ll research, design, prototype, and ultimately transform our vision into reality.

Qualifications:

• A BS or MS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong experience in computer vision and image processing.
• Proficiency in C++ programming with at least 5 years of professional experience as a developer.
• Demonstrated expertise in creating code that is maintainable, testable, and thoroughly documented.
• Extensive experience with non-linear optimization techniques.
• Solid understanding of geometry and its applications in computer vision.
• Experience in computer vision product development.
• Experience with SLAM algorithms design and development is a plus.
• Experience with rolling shutter and/or neuromorphic sensors is a plus.
• Experience with embedded computer vision development is a plus.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Computer Vision Engineer at Tempo Sense, you will:

• Focus on software development, algorithm design, and participate in the creation of smart sensors with edge processing capabilities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to research, design, develop, test, and qualify software for our products.
• Work closely with a team of brilliant minds from around the world, ensuring that you are always at the forefront of innovation and able to replicate and improve state-of-the-art results.

Location & Work-Life Integration:

This position is for the New York metropolitan area only - we are only considering candidates who are based in the area. This position will require regular commute into our office in Midtown. Depending on specific project needs, we may offer remote work for certain periods or for certain days of the week.
