Job Description:
Infosys is seeking Advance Energy Management System (AEMS)Consultant - In this role, you will be working with Electric Utilities or ISOs (Independent System Operators) and Transmission and Distribution System Operators on modelling, functional software specifications, designing, testing, application tuning and delivery. You will be an expert contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle. You will be intensely involved in business process consulting; you will define the problem, propose, and create the solution. You will also play an important role in the development, configuration, and deployment of the overall solution. You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability building and help detail the project scope. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.
This position is based out of Rosemead; CA. Candidate can work from anywhere in USA and or remote during PST time zone. This position may require travel to project locations.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
• Experience in configuring, deploying and validating Advanced Power Systems Application/EMS
Preferred Qualification:
• At least 5 years of experience in Transmission and distribution automation processes and systems
• Experience of at least 1 full-cycle implementations for a utility (Power) with hands on Functional testing and deployment experience of EMS.
• Experienced in TSM, GDC, SCADA, ICCP, Display building
• Understanding of networking protocols, automation, and control systems
• Should have strong understanding on grid operational suites (ADMS, EMS, SCADA)
• Should be able to develop business process and system use cases
• Should have excellent soft-skills and leadership skills to lead assessment workshops, and work with Enterprise architects to design roadmaps for next 5 years.
• Experience in utilities in North America and understanding of NERC-CIP
• Should be able to guide, mentor and review the end-to-end solution and perform issue resolutions during support /Post-Go Live phase
• Experience and desire to work in a management consulting environment.
