Overview:

One of our clients, a well-established restaurant group based in Orlando, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst - Corporate Reporting to join their team. This role is ideal for a motivated finance professional with 3+ years of experience in accounting, auditing, or consulting. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of financial reporting, and be in the process of obtaining or already holding a CPA designation. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze corporate financial statements, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies and GAAP.
• Assist in the preparation of consolidated financials for multiple entities within the restaurant group.
• Perform detailed financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for operational improvement.
• Partner with the leadership team to provide insights on financial performance and assist in strategic decision-making.
• Oversee internal reporting for key financial metrics, including profitability, cost management, and budgeting.
• Support the budgeting and forecasting process by preparing financial models and projections.
• Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual external financial reports for stakeholders and auditors.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and maintain appropriate internal controls.
• Provide support during audits, working closely with auditors to ensure smooth and timely completion of audits.
• Collaborate with various departments to provide financial guidance and analysis on initiatives such as new restaurant openings, menu pricing, and cost structure optimization.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in accounting, auditing, or consulting, with a focus on corporate financial reporting.
• CPA or in the process of obtaining CPA certification (company will support the CPA process).
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
• Experience with financial reporting software (e.g., Oracle, SAP, or similar ERP systems) is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze large datasets and present findings clearly.
• Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
• High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
