Job Title: Senior System Software Engineer

Job Type: Contract 12 months (to begin with)

Job Location: Raleigh, NC

Job Description:

• Proven experience of debugging and troubleshooting system software anomalies (E.g., Reported by Device Help and Manufacturing)
• Classify issues (E.g., hardware, software, use error)
• Determine next steps (e.g., fix, escalate, monitor)
• Proven experience of developing tools for supporting manufacturing and field support in Qt (C++) and QML
• Perform automated software testing (Develop unit test or functional test automation e.g., in SQUISH).
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (E.g., C++).
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Skills Required :

• C++ (object-oriented programming): You should be strong in writing and structuring software in an object-oriented way.
• Qt/QML: You need hands-on experience creating graphical tools using this UI framework.
• SQUISH: This tool is used for automated testing, especially with Qt-based apps.
• Problem-solving mindset: You must be able to analyze complex issues, track down their cause, and figure out how to fix them.
