Responsibilities:
• Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual planning cycles — bringing past experience to help scale our processes and ensure continued accuracy and analysis in each quarterly cycle
• Partner with business stakeholders and FP&A team members to understand reporting needs and translate them into scalable BI solutions
• Lead initiatives to automate recurring financial reports and manual data processes, reducing cycle times and improving accuracy
• Provide insights and analysis to assist the business leaders in improving financial performance
• Own and manage the corporate financial forecast model and assist with Long Term strategic financial planning
• Continuously identify and communicate all risks and opportunities against the budget and/or forecast(s)
• Bring a collaborative, hands-on approach to your work, developing open communications and productive work relationships across the Finance organization.
• Develop financial models for new product introductions and work with product owners, marketing team, and engineering team on developing projections and ROI.
• Financial analysis on an ad hoc basis
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field from an accredited, not-for-profit University or College
• A track record of commitment to prior employers
• Advanced proficiency in Power BI and Power Query
• Experience working with large datasets and integrating data from multiple systems
• 3+ years FP&A experience in a public traded SaaS company
• Strong business acumen, excellent communication skills and superior analytical skills
• Advanced financial modeling skills in Excel
• Prior experience in software engineering/technology a plus
