A profitable, high-growth Medical Device company is expanding their commercial marketing team and adding a Sr. Product Marketer. Their market-leading surgical products treat a range of complex cardiology conditions and save lives, reduce hospitalizations and provide improved quality of life.

They need a Marketer who enjoys fast-paced, high visibility work, especially around product launches and new indications. In this role you’ll define and grow the market for these lifesaving products and have routine exposure to senior leadership.

The Opportunity

In this role you will develop marketing plans and activities to strategically position a global market leader in the US structural heart space. This role focuses on downstream, customer-facing marketing including launching products, driving adoption and market development. You’ll understand the competitive environment as well as developing approaches for new customers and patient profiles. There’s a strong emphasis on HCP and patient marketing for the products, so you’ll own strategies and tactics for both audiences.

This is a broadly defined assignment that will also include budgeting, forecasting, sales training, medical education programming, and extensive analytics, so we need someone who is comfortable working broadly. Previous marketing experience in the cardiovascular, heart failure, structural heart or cardiac spaces is a plus, but not required. Any Class III implantable surgical device experience will align.

You will thrive in this role if you are a polished marketer who likes working in a fast-paced environment and can present to the highest levels of leadership. You will have high visibility in this role with marketing and sales leadership as you present and defend recommendations. Excellent communication skills are a must including written, oral and presentation skills. You will serve as the commercial leader on cross-functional teams with colleagues from product development, sales, finance, regulatory, operations, and medical affairs.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of commercial marketing experience in the Class III implantable medical device space
  • Product Launch experience
  • A Bachelor’s Degree or better is required; an MBA or similar is a plus

The industry-leading compensation plan includes base salary plus annual bonus and long-term incentives along with a generous corporate benefits package. This position will be based in the San Francisco Bay, CA, area. You will need live in the local area and be able to work in person in their local offices, a generous relocation package is provided.
