Place Services, Inc. has an immediate need for a Structural Engineer for our General Construction Division to be based out of our Canton, GA HQ office location.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Structural Engineer to join our team. This role requires a deep understanding of structural design, particularly with cold-formed framing, and proficiency in industry-standard software tools.

Candidates must be a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the state of Georgia and have the ability to obtain licensure in other states as needed.

What You’ll Do:

• Design, analyze, and develop structural solutions for a variety of projects, with a focus on cold-formed framing.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to ensure cohesive project delivery.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, calculations, and reports using Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam.
• Conduct structural assessments and inspections as required.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and budgets.
• Stay updated on advancements in structural engineering practices, materials, and technologies.

What You’ll Bring:

• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Georgia, with the ability to achieve licensure in other states.
• 10-15 years of professional experience in structural engineering.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in designing cold-formed framing.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s degree preferred).
