Job Description

Camp Dates: 6/30/2025 (Mon) - 7/25/2025 (Fri)

Summer Camp Hours: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (actual shifts may vary)

Shift: 10 am - 4 pm or 11 am - 5 pm (similar)

Wages: $17.00 - $20.00 (determined using prior experience), commitment and performance bonus available.

Job Responsibilities:

Staff members will be responsible for supervising and leading enrichment activities, chaperoning field trips, making connections, and monitoring safety and wellness. You’ll travel by van (as passenger) to various sites over the four-week period, all while having fun and maintaining safe space with kids ages 6-12.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Actively supervising campers (on site and off-site, during transport and for the duration of any field trip)
  • Ensure compliance with Camp/Program Policies
  • Reporting & Recording details of notable concerns or incidents, and of injuries to campers, other staff members, or self
  • Diligently assist and care for the needs of campers throughout the camp day
  • Keeping track and being aware of camper allergies and dietary restrictions

  • Does the idea of guiding kids while they make decisions for themselves excite you?
  • Are you calm under pressure and able to calm those around you?
  • Are you comfortable leading groups of kids on your own while still collaborating with a small team?
  • Are you passionate about sharing your knowledge & learning something new (even if a third grader is doing the teaching)?

Job Requirements:

  • At least 16 years of age (by June 20, 2025)
  • Can successfully pass background check
  • Minimum of 6 months experience working with camp–age (6-12 years old) children, with 1 year preferred, in either a professional, personal or volunteer setting.
  • Available to work all four weeks with reliable transportation
  • First Aid & CPR certified prior to Day 1 of Camp ( highly desirable , or willingness to obtain certifications)
