Real Estate Intern
This 10-week internship will give you real-world experience working side-by-side with experienced professionals in commercial real estate. Interns will perform a variety of integral functions to support the Acquisitions team through our origination efforts including underwriting potential opportunities. The internship will include shadowing business teams (Due Diligence, Development, Asset Management) to give full visibility to the lifecycle of a deal. At the conclusion of the internship, you will share a presentation to represent your work from the summer. The goal of this internship is to be in a position for the candidate to receive a full-time offer. The internship is 40 hours per week and will run from June to mid-August 2025.
What you will do:
Perform detailed market research including lease and sale comps
Complete several different types of underwriting deals
Prepare market summary reports and aerials
Assist with preparations of Investment Committee materials
Meet and interact with each functional department
Conduct store performance calls
Assist in miscellaneous projects as assigned
Create and share a presentation at the conclusion of the internship to showcase your work throughout the summer.
Who you are:
A recent graduate or incoming college senior (for the Fall of 2025) pursuing a Bachelor’s degree
Coursework focused in Finance, Real Estate or Economics – preferred
Excellent attention to detail
Strong analytical and computer skills, with an emphasis on MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Strong interpersonal skills necessary to interact with groups internally and externally, including senior leaders
Passion for real estate! You want to start your career in real estate and engage in all opportunities to learn.
Ability to multi-task various projects and meet firm deadlines, including prioritizing and time-managing recurring duties and ad hoc tasks as they arise
