Our client, a leading national ambulatory company, is seeking a Surgery Center Administrator for their high-volume facility equipped with 4 Operating Rooms and 1 Treatment Room. This facility specializes in a variety of surgical specialties including ENT, General Surgery, GI, GYN, Ophthalmology, Oral Surgery, Orthopedics, Podiatry, and Pain Management.
Job Summary: The Surgery Center Administrator will be responsible for the comprehensive management of the facility, overseeing all operational functions, staff management, and regulatory compliance. This role is pivotal in ensuring efficient surgical services that exceed customer expectations while enhancing clinical and financial operations.
Responsibilities:
● Manage daily operations, ensuring effective functioning of the surgery center.
● Act as a liaison among the Governing Board, Medical Staff, and all facility departments.
● Lead and manage all business and clinical operations of the center under the direction of the Governing Board.
● Oversee staff performance, including hiring, training, and management of personnel.
● Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and accrediting bodies, maintaining high standards for safety and quality.
● Develop and manage operational budgets, financial reports, and billing systems.
● Drive business development and strategic planning, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement. Qualifications:
● Experience in Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) management or hospital surgical leadership with ASC exposure.
● Proven ability to handle a high volume of operations efficiently and effectively.
● Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, mentor, and develop staff.
● Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
● Commitment to providing high-quality care and a positive patient experience.
