Job Title: Tax Analyst

Location: Tampa, FL 33610

Duration: 6+ months contract (Possible Extensions)

Hours/Schedule(if training schedule include here)

M-F – Standard shift.

Pay Rate $24 - $25/hr.

Responsibilities

• Review, validate, and process W-8 and W-9 tax.
• Work with IRS rules: Chapter 3, Chapter 61, Section 3406, FATCA
• Chapter 3: Rules for withholding taxes on payments to non-U.S. persons.
• Chapter 61 & Section 3406: Rules for information reporting (like 1099s) and backup withholding if taxpayer info is missing/wrong.
• FATCA (Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act): Rules to prevent U.S. taxpayers from hiding money overseas.
• Assist with 1099, 1042-S, FATCA, and CRS reporting
• 1099: Report of payments to U.S. taxpayers (interest, dividends, etc.).
• 1042-S: Report of payments to non-U.S. persons and how much tax was withheld.
• FATCA: Report of U.S. clients with overseas accounts.
• CRS (Common Reporting Standard): Global version of FATCA for other countries
