Job Description

As a Teaching Assistant at Tender Learning Centre, you will play a vital role in supporting our classrooms. You will work collaboratively with lead teachers to ensure a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for our learners. Flexibility, creativity, and a passion for early childhood education are essential for this role. Responsibilities:

• Assist lead teachers in planning and implementing daily activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development.
• Provide individualized attention to children, supporting their unique needs and interests.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment, following health and safety guidelines.
• Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
• Previous experience working with children in a daycare or other setting is required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• EEC Teacher Certification (Preferred).
• A nurturing and patient demeanor, with a passion for early childhood education.
