As they expand our East Coast footprint, we’re seeking a dynamic Territory Sales Manager (TSM) to drive growth and brand presence throughout Central New Jersey — one of the most exciting emerging cannabis markets in the U.S.

Position Summary

The Territory Sales Manager – Central New Jersey will play a critical role in driving wholesale sales, building long-term customer relationships, and executing brand strategy across dispensaries and retail partners. This individual will be responsible for meeting revenue goals, expanding market share, and ensuring consistent visibility of our product portfolio throughout the state.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Growth & Account Management
  • Develop, manage, and grow a portfolio of retail and wholesale accounts throughout New Jersey.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities and lead outreach to prospective accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with dispensary buyers, managers, and staff.
  • Brand Representation
  • Serve as the brand ambassador across the territory, embodying our company’s mission and values.
  • Ensure proper product placement, merchandising, and brand visibility at all partner locations.
  • Coordinate with marketing to plan and execute promotional events, product launches, and budtender education sessions.
  • Strategic Execution
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and consumer insights to identify growth opportunities.
  • Provide feedback to leadership on pricing, promotions, and product performance.
  • Partner cross-functionally with logistics, compliance, and operations teams to ensure seamless fulfillment and execution.
  • Reporting & Administration
  • Maintain detailed CRM records of account activity, forecasts, and pipeline updates.
  • Deliver regular sales reports and performance analyses to the Regional Sales Director.
  • Ensure all sales activities comply with state cannabis regulations and internal compliance standards.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of B2B sales experience; cannabis, CPG, beverage, or alcohol industry preferred.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of the New Jersey cannabis market, state regulations, and retail landscape.
  • Skills:
  • Proven success meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organizational and CRM proficiency (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Other:
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned territory.
  • Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends for events or trade shows.
