TIG WELDER/BRAZER

Location: Salt Lake City, UT

Reports to: General Manager

Compensation: $25 - $40/hr

Your Role:

As a TIG Welder/Brazer, you will be responsible for performing precision welding using both manual and robotic equipment. This role requires expertise in TIG welding, brazing, and quality control, as well as the ability to work with brass and other unique materials. You’ll work with Fanuc-controlled robotic welders, pressure test completed parts, and ensure all weld and parts meet the highest quality standards.

What You’ll Do:

Operate and program Fanuc-controlled robotic welders

Perform TIG welding, brazing, and touch-up work on brass and related materials

Run welding machines, monitor operations, and ensure accuracy

Conduct full welds as needed for parts and assemblies

Perform pressure testing on welded parts to ensure integrity and quality

Verify weld quality and ensure compliance with AWS D9.1 standards

What You’ll Bring:

7+ years of experience in TIG welding – preferably in an aerospace setting

Experience with robotic welding equipment (Fanuc controls preferred)

Proven ability to set up, align, and fixture complex parts

Strong knowledge of brazing and working with brass

Familiarity with AWS D9.1 welding standards

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

Experience with quality testing and verification methods
