The Big Task

Our Total Rewards Specialist will lead the implementation, administration, and ongoing evaluation of our Total Rewards offerings, including but not limited to, our total compensation benefits, and recognition programs.

Key Tasks

  • Responsible for the day-to-day administration of compensation programs across the organization, including but not limited to regular payrolls and incentive plans.
  • Assist in the development and rollout of compensation programs in accordance with company philosophy, guidelines, and policies.
  • Participate in salary and labor market surveys to determine prevailing pay rates and benefits.
  • Be a trusted advisor within the Employee Experience and Total Rewards area.
  • Conduct ongoing research into emerging trends, issues, and best practices in compensation.
  • Communicate total rewards value to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage benefits programs, including new hire benefit education and open enrollment events.
  • Ensure that compensation practices comply with current legislation.
  • Prepare job descriptions, job definitions, job analysis, job evaluations, and job classifications.
  • Oversee day-to-day administration of leave of absence program.
  • Maintain accurate employee records.
  • Perform periodic audits and prepare reports as needed.
  • Requires thorough knowledge of applicable laws and regulatory compliance in Compensation & Benefits (i.e., ACA, ERISA, FMLA, FLSA, OHSA, etc.)
  • Other duties as needed.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Human Resources, Finance or Accounting is desired.
  • Professional certifications in one or more areas of HR administration preferred (i.e., CCP, CBP, CEBS, PHR, SPHR, SHRM).

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Two or more years of progressive experience in the following areas: compensation, payroll, benefits, HRIS, and/or benefits management.
