Summary:

The Training Coordinator provides support in the design, development, and coordination of training programs by partnering with subject matter experts to create and deliver effective learning content. This role helps facilitate both onsite and virtual training sessions, ensuring a positive and engaging experience for employees. The Training Coordinator also contributes to program effectiveness by assisting with performance assessments, offering coaching support, and evaluating training outcomes through surveys, feedback, and other assessment methods. By staying informed of industry trends and aligning with organizational needs, this role helps ensure that training programs remain current, impactful, and aligned with company objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Support in designing and implementing all phases of the training programs, including participating in assessments and performance review processes.
  • Participate in meeting with subject matter experts to review, identify, and create effective learning programs, including compliance and management training programs.
  • Ensure a positive employee learning experience through timely communication and coordination of onsite and virtual training processes while adhering to company and training policies and procedures.
  • Identify and execute efficient and effective learning methods and strategies based on existing human capital, industry standards, and the organization's needs.
  • Provide coaching to managers, supervisors, and others involved in employee development efforts, including supporting the delivery of assessment and performance management programs to enhance employee performance.
  • Partner with subject matter experts to acquire, build, and create training manuals, guides, and course materials using various forms and formats such as group discussions, lectures, simulations, and videos.
  • Support in assessing instructor training materials and evaluating program effectiveness through analysis, surveys, and feedback.
  • Keep current with the emerging trends in learning and development and human resources to provide recommendations for designing effective and up-to-date training programs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required. A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field is preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in a position supporting training and development in a large organization or a similar role.
  • Bilingual in English/Mandarin or English/Vietnamese is required.
  • Proficient in Google, Microsoft Office Suite, or related software.
  • Demonstrate ability to deal with sensitive and confidential information.
  • Experience with matrix organization and/or multi-unit management is preferred.
  • Training experience in retail, food stores, and food production industry is preferred.
  • Additional HR training or education will be a plus, such as an advanced degree, Associate Professional in Talent Development (APTD), SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), or PHR.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • This job may require standing or walking for extended periods of time, lifting up to 50 pounds, and performing repetitive motions.

Compensation:
