Vice President – Technology Investment Banking

Location: San Francisco

A premier boutique investment bank is seeking a highly motivated Vice President 1 to join its Technology Investment Banking team in New York. This group advises leading technology companies, from high-growth innovators to established market leaders, on strategic transactions including mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and restructuring. The firm offers a collaborative culture, lean deal teams, and direct exposure to senior leadership and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the execution of M&A, IPO, and strategic advisory mandates within the technology sector.
• Manage, develop, and mentor junior bankers, ensuring excellence in analysis, deliverables, and execution.
• Build and maintain client relationships with technology executives, investors, and strategic acquirers.
• Conduct detailed company and industry analysis, including financial modeling, valuation, and strategic assessments.
• Collaborate closely with senior bankers and clients to manage complex transaction processes from start to finish.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 6 years of investment banking experience with direct exposure to technology sector transactions.
• Strong technical skills in financial modeling, valuation, and transaction structuring.
• Demonstrated leadership, project management, and client-facing experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage confidently with C-suite executives and institutional investors.
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred but not mandatory.
