Visual Merchandising Analyst
Ongoing Contract (W2) - Weekly Pay, Benefits
Hybrid on-site in Houston, TX (Tuesday - Thursday)
$25/hr. - 40 hours/week
Can you help us make buying complicated products surprisingly easy and exciting? Do you love bringing products to life visually? This role will play an integral role in continuing to make this a reality at this Fortune 50 retailer. The Visual Merchandising Specialist will maintain impeccable visuals throughout the site experience, keep our visual projects on track, and support competitive review and analyses through the site experience. This person will partner with other members of the merchandising department to execute on strategic objectives related to assortment strategy and expansion, in addition to interacting with several other departments in the organization.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Assist in managing photoshoot processes, budget, and execution.
· Edit and update photography as needed. Manage photography through site experience.
· Maintain DAM for all product visuals.
· Partner with CX on visual and merchandising support for ongoing initiatives.
· Create configuration illustrations
· Create, manage and maintain visualization for highly complex products online with superior accuracy.
· Manage task intake, work distribution and stake holder communication.
· Team sprint planning and summaries.
· Collect, track, document and report on frequent competitive analyses, presenting data in visually relevant and meaningful ways.
· Pull and leverage data to support informed merchandising decisions.
· Provide ongoing communication support for Call Center associates.
· Audit site for merchandising and product accessibility opportunities.
· Execute product update and QA initiatives with impeccable attention to detail, adhering to strict QA standards.
· Assist with continual process improvement.
· Follow tasks and projects through to a satisfactory completion across all stakeholders.
Requirements and Skills:
· Beginner to intermediate Adobe Creative Suite skills
· Self-starter, highly motivated to excel under minimal supervision. Must have proven track record of executing multiple tasks in a results driven organization.
· Ability to project manage own workload.
· Ability to identify merchandising opportunities and act on them.
· Detail oriented.
· Experience in content management systems a plus.
· Familiar with Excel.
· Ability to collaborate easily with others and grow through constructive criticism.
· BA/BS in Marketing, Communications and/or related fields preferred
