Job Description

A great UHY client is seeking a Workday Adaptive Consultant to join their team on a temporary/consulting basis. The ideal candidate will have Adaptive System configuration experience, experience with troubleshooting Adaptive models, and experience with Adaptive Dashboard reporting.

The Workday Adaptive Consultant position is 100% remote. This a client contract position.

Workday Adaptive Consultant Job Responsibilities:

• System Administration: System configurations within the Adaptive Planning platform
• Model Building and Maintenance: Trouble shoot models - Develop and maintain complex financial models, reports, and dashboards within Adaptive Planning.
• User Support and Training: Providing support and training to end-users on Adaptive Planning functionalities and best practices.
• Collaboration: Working closely with finance, operations, and IT teams to align Adaptive Planning with business requirements and strategic goals.
• Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities to enhance the platform, improve efficiency, and streamline planning processes.

Workday Adaptive Consultant Education and/or Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Workday Adaptive Planning Certification preferred
• Workday Adaptive Expertise
• Familiarity with tools like: Workday Financials or HCM, Tableau, Power BI, Excel add-ins like OfficeConnect
• Data & Integration Skills
• Planning & Budgeting Knowledge
• Awareness of how FP&A interacts with other business areas (HR, sales, operations)
• General understanding of GAAP
• Translating business requirements into system functionality
• Ability to deliver training to end-users
• Cost center, P&L, balance sheet structure
• Problem-solving in model design and troubleshooting
• Optimization of performance and usability
