Job Description

The Associate Manager, Performance Analytics, is a key member of the KFC Latin America & Caribbean (LA&C) team, responsible for driving data analytics, uncovering actionable insights, and providing strategic recommendations to franchisees across the region. This role focuses on optimizing digital and marketing initiatives by transforming data into meaningful insights that influence business outcomes and enhance collaboration with franchisees.

The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, franchisee-driven environment.

  • Organization supported: KFC, Latin America & Caribbean Franchise Business Unit (1900+ restaurants).
  • 40 countries, 80+ Franchise Partners
  • This position will be based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Travel required: 20% (International and domestic).

Job Functions

Data Analytics & Reporting

  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) across digital platforms and marketing campaigns.
  • Analyze large datasets from multiple sources (e.g., transactional data, campaign performance, app analytics) to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Provide analysis for Menu & Marketing Insights with datasets from multiple sources, franchisees, countries to identify opportunities to drive Global and Regional strategy in Value, Pricing, Menu Architecture & Modernity
  • Establish benchmarks and provide region-wide performance comparisons to Market & Functional Leads to influence Business Actions in markets.
  • Support campaign testing, app launches, and digital innovations with robust pre- and post-analysis.

Insights Discovery & Strategic Recommendations

  • Leads the Data Consolidation and Analysis for key insights platforms such as YOU GOV, MDI, KFC Listens while providing recommendations to enable decision making across functions and markets
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses to uncover key business insights related to customer behavior, marketing effectiveness, and digital engagement.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to develop actionable recommendations that enhance franchisee performance and drive revenue.
  • Identify opportunities for optimization in pricing, promotions, and campaign targeting based on data-driven insights.

Franchisee Collaboration & Influence

  • Act as a trusted advisor to franchisees by presenting insights and recommendations that directly impact their digital and marketing strategies.
  • Deliver tailored analyses and performance reviews for individual franchise markets, ensuring alignment with regional goals.
  • Support Market Success Teams to influence franchisees to adopt best practices and data-driven strategies through effective storytelling and presentation skills.

Cross-Functional Support

  • Collaborate internally with Digital, Marketing, Finance and Operations teams to ensure One Brand Alignment to drive effectiveness in execution
  • Partner with external agencies and vendors to ensure data accuracy and quality.
  • Partner with Regional and Global Teams to leverage brand global scale and learnings/best practices.
  • Working Relationships: The person in this position will also interact with other functions within the Latin America & Caribbean team. (Operations, Development, Suppy Chain, R&D/QA, People and Culture, and Finance) as well as Franchisee Partners.

Knowledge And Skills Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Marketing, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • 4+ years of experience in analytics, performance marketing, or a similar role, preferably in the QSR, retail, or consumer goods industry.
  • Strong Excel skills and experience with statistical analysis; experience in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and analytical tools (e.g., SQL, Python, or R) a plus.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with franchisees and cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in English/Spanish required (including writing). Portuguese preferred.
  • Experience working in a multi-market, franchisee-led environment is a strong advantage.
