Job Description

Position Overview 

We are hiring Construction Laborers with at least 6 months of construction experience. The ideal candidate has hands-on skills in areas like framing, drywall, flooring, and finish carpentry, but is also willing to perform general labor duties to keep projects running smoothly. If you’re hardworking, dependable, and ready to contribute to all phases of construction, this is the job for you. 

Responsibilities 

Skilled Construction Tasks 

  • Framing walls and structures 

  • Hanging, mudding, and taping drywall 

  • Installing flooring (tile, laminate, wood, etc.) 

  • Installing cabinets, windows, and doors 

General Labor Duties 

  • Site preparation, digging, grading, and demolition 

  • Loading, unloading, and staging building materials 

  • Assisting carpenters, installers, and other trades as needed 

  • Safe operation of hand tools, power tools, and small equipment 

  • Job site cleanup and waste disposal 

  • Following safety guidelines and maintaining organized work areas 

  • Picking up supplies and construction materials from vendors as needed (valid driver’s license strongly preferred) 

Qualifications 

  • Minimum 6 months of construction experience required 

  • Hands-on skills in one or more areas: framing, drywall, mud/tape, flooring, cabinets, windows, or doors 

  • Willingness to perform general labor duties alongside skilled tasks 

  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions 

  • Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability 

  • Valid driver’s license preferred 

  • References and pictures of past work strongly preferred 

Ideal Candidates 

  • Timely and dependable on the job site 

  • Have reliable transportation to and from work 

  • Adaptable to learning and using new software as needed 

  • Able to fill out daily logs of work completed 

  • Accountable and take ownership of their work
