Job Description

The Superintendent is responsible for the on-site management of field activities for federal construction projects with electrical scopes. This includes ensuring that work is executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with all applicable regulations and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day job site operations, particularly electrical scopes.
• Direct field personnel, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure safe and efficient progress.
• Conduct daily safety meetings and enforce compliance with EM 385-1-1 and OSHA regulations.
• Coordinate material deliveries, equipment, and manpower scheduling.
• Interface with Project Manager and QCM to ensure quality and schedule adherence.
• Review drawings and specifications to ensure proper installations.
• Monitor site safety, cleanliness, and security.
• Document daily reports, progress photos, and job logs.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of construction field experience, including 3+ years in a superintendent or foreman role.
• Experience in federal construction (USACE, NAVFAC, VA, etc.).
• In-depth knowledge of electrical systems and construction practices.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proficiency in reading drawings, specifications, and schedules.
• OSHA 30 certification (required); First Aid/CPR preferred.
• Ability to pass background checks and obtain security clearance.
