Job Summary:

• Insight Global’s client, is searching for an Electronic Assembler to support their operations in Fort Walton Beach, FL. The candidate will be tasked with carrying out foundational and routine electronic and mechanical assembly tasks involving components, printed circuit boards, and subassemblies. These activities will be executed following established standards, utilizing visual aids and both verbal and written guidance.

Primary Duties:

• Align and secure parts in specified configurations using hand tools or power tools.
• Install assembled components onto circuit boards or panels.
• Manage wiring and cabling, connecting them to terminals based on designated color codes, and soldering or wrapping wires around terminals to ensure electrical connectivity.
• Conduct intermediate assembly functions, including:
• Potting
• Encapsulating
• Cleaning
• Coating
• Epoxy bonding
• Wiring
• Stamping
• Color coding of parts and assemblies
• Analyze and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, specifications, work orders, or reports to establish material needs and assembly instructions.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• Experience in electrical assembly and wiring

Preferred Qualifications:

• Capability to read and interpret assembly drawings and component identifiers
• Proficiency in bending and forming wires to specified dimensions
• Familiarity with tools such as stripping tools, wire cutters, soldering tools, degreasers, and other related equipment.

*Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour

*Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of employment, including options for medical, dental, and vision insurance. Eligibility to enroll in the 401(k) retirement plan begins after 90 days of employment. Additionally, employees in this role will have access to paid sick leave and other paid time off benefits as required under the applicable law of the worksite location.
