Facilities Manager

Location: San Francisco, CA

Salary: $120,000 per year + benefits

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a corporate office in San Francisco. This role will be responsible for managing both hard and soft services, ensuring a high standard of service delivery, compliance, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a background in corporate facilities management, strong leadership skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of building services, including maintenance, janitorial, security, and vendor management.
  • Manage two direct reports, providing leadership, guidance, and performance management.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Coordinate and oversee maintenance of critical building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
  • Manage vendor contracts and service agreements to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to address facilities-related needs and support business operations.
  • Develop and monitor budgets, ensuring cost-effective management of resources.
  • Implement sustainability initiatives and operational improvements.
  • Respond to and resolve facility-related issues in a timely manner.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in facilities management within a corporate environment.
  • Strong understanding of both hard and soft services, including building maintenance, cleaning, and security operations.
  • Experience managing direct reports and working with external vendors.
  • Knowledge of workplace safety and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
