Job Description

Position Summary:

Responsible for the preparation of vaccine components in an aseptic clean room environment, utilizing virus and cell culture techniques in compliance with USDA regulations. This role supports vaccine manufacturing operations with a strong focus on aseptic techniques, documentation accuracy, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform vaccine component preparation activities in an aseptic clean room using virus and cell culture techniques, adhering strictly to USDA regulations.
• Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) during all production processes.
• Assist in training and coaching both new and current employees on key skills and procedures.
• Accurately complete and review in-process documentation to ensure compliance and maintain proper technical records.
• Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) to resolve production issues and maintain continuous improvement.
• Escalate any disturbances or deviations in production flow to appropriate channels in a timely manner.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) initiatives.
• Assess individual performance within the context of continuous improvement strategies (AAI).
• Provide support for site-level projects and initiatives, including deviation management and change control processes.

Skills & Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree preferred; a background in science or aseptic processing is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Preferred: Degree in Biology or related field, with at least one year of laboratory or manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of clean room protocols and aseptic technique.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with high attention to detail.
• Basic math proficiency and troubleshooting skills related to equipment and automation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and database systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems independently.
