Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Location: Mason, OH (100% Onsite)

Work Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (40 hours per week)

Start Date: ASAP

Assignment Length: Through End of Year (Potential Temp-to-Hire)

Pay Rate: $20 to $23/hour (flexible based on experience)

Job Summary:

• We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to perform a variety of facility maintenance tasks to ensure safe, efficient, and functional building operations. This position supports daily maintenance needs, project support during a facility remodel, and regular visits to a nearby managed property.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily maintenance checks and minor repairs (plumbing, electrical, landscaping, etc.)
• Assist project team with remodel preparation and set-up of temporary swing space
• Monitor loading dock and handle package deliveries during remodel
• Maintain mechanical systems (HVAC, boilers, fans, generators, etc.)
• Perform general repairs: carpentry, painting, drywall, flooring, furniture moves, and basic cleaning
• Conduct safety and compliance inspections (e.g., fire equipment, elevators)
• Replace light bulbs, ceiling tiles, carpet tiles, and adjust furniture as needed
• Maintain and inventory conference room furnishings and supplies
• Support event setup and breakdown
• Assist janitorial staff as needed
• Perform snow removal and groundskeeping duties
• Moderate to heavy lifting; assist with deliveries and installations

Basic Qualifications:

• 5–10 years of general maintenance experience
• High School diploma or GED (technical/trade school preferred)
• Clean driver’s license
• Basic oral and written communication skills
• Strong organizational habits and attention to detail
• Familiarity with basic software and email communication
• Knowledge in drywall repair, light electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and landscaping

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in facilities/property management, commercial real estate, or professional services
• Self-motivated and capable of independent decision-making
• Dependable and cooperative work ethic
