The Role

We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to support the execution of marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, engagement, and growth. This role will support a variety of marketing initiatives including event planning, digital campaigns, social media management, website updates, email marketing, and performance analytics. The ideal candidate is a proactive team player with a passion for marketing, exceptional organizational skills, and a knack for creativity and data.

Key Responsibilities

Event Management

  • Coordinate logistics for virtual and in-person events (conferences, webinars, corporate dinners, networking events)
  • Manage event calendars, vendor relationships, and promotional materials.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution and post-event follow-up

Social Media Management

  • Create, schedule, and monitor content across LinkedIn accounts for various Volta Foundation programs
  • Engage with followers and professional members to foster brand loyalty
  • Analyze and report on performance metrics to optimize engagement and reach utilizing Sprout Social, HubSpot and other marketing tools

Website & Digital Marketing

  • Assist with updates and maintenance of company website using Wordpress
  • Collaborate on SEO strategy and implementation
  • Support paid advertising campaigns (search, display, social)
  • Use tools like Google Analytics to evaluate website trends and performance

Email Marketing

  • Build and deploy marketing emails and newsletters using HubSpot
  • Segment audiences and personalize content to drive open and click-through rates
  • Track campaign performance and suggest optimizations based on data insights
  • Oversee data management and data cleansing of the Volta Foundation professional contact database

Marketing Analytics & Reporting

  • Monitor and report on key marketing KPIs across all channels
  • Use tools like Google Analytics, HubSpot, and Sprout Social to evaluate campaign effectiveness
  • Support quarterly and annual reporting to inform strategic planning

General Marketing Support

  • Assist with content development and design (e.g. blogs, white papers, presentations)
  • Maintain brand consistency across all materials and campaigns
  • Manage marketing assets and ensure proper versioning and accessibility

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in a marketing, communications or digital role 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational program management skills and attention to detail
  • Creative thinker with analytical mindset and a desire to continuously learn
  • Passion for community engagement (and batteries - a plus!) 
  • Knowledge of marketing platforms such as Asana, HubSpot, Sprout Social, Google Analytics, Zoom Events, and Wordpress
  • Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).

Location

  • Remote
  • Travel for semi-annual Board of Directors meetings, and opportunity to attend industry events. (<10% travel)

Compensation

We offer competitive salary and on-target earnings package commensurate with the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

  • $55,000 ~ $70,000 USD per year depending on qualifications and experience
