VERTX Careers is a fast-growing company based in Austin, delivering high-level exterior building services, including window cleaning, pressure washing, post-construction cleaning, and rope access work. Our mission is to bring precision, professionalism, and safety to every job site, be it a high-rise tower or a historic landmark.

We're is seeking a detail-oriented and driven Project Manager to oversee the execution of our on-site commercial and construction cleaning projects. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, is bilingual in English and Spanish, and has strong leadership skills managing field teams and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Oversight : Manage all aspects of on-site project execution, ensuring timelines, safety protocols, and quality standards are met
• Team Leadership : Supervise field crews (including subcontracted labor), ensuring clear communication, task delegation, and performance management
• Bilingual Communication : Provide direction and guidance in both English and Spanish to ensure alignment across diverse teams
• Scheduling & Staffing : Organize and deploy labor efficiently across multiple job sites; maintain daily schedules and site coverage
• Site Safety & Compliance : Conduct safety meetings, enforce jobsite safety protocols, and help ensure OSHA compliance
• Client Coordination : Communicate with clients, site contacts, and internal stakeholders to maintain smooth operations and issue resolution
• Support Specialized Projects : Assist with pressure washing, high-rise access work, or other specialized façade maintenance tasks when needed

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of experience in a field-based project management role (construction, cleaning, facilities, or related industry)
• Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Bilingual: Fluent in both English and Spanish
• Experience managing labor crews and subcontractors
• Ability to proactively identify staffing needs and coordinate labor sourcing
• Tech-savvy and comfortable with tools like Google Workspace, time tracking softwares, and mobile job tracking apps
• Reliable transportation with flexibility to travel between job sites

Preferred but not required

• OSHA 30 certification
• Experience conducting toolbox talks or safety briefings
• Knowledge of pressure washing or post-construction cleaning methods
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
