Regional Sales Manager – Midwest (Building Solutions)

My client, a global leader in intelligent building technologies, is seeking a dynamic Regional Sales Manager to lead sales growth across the Midwest region. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an industry powerhouse in smart infrastructure and energy-efficient building solutions.

About the Role:

As Regional Sales Manager, you'll take ownership of developing and executing the go-to-market strategy across the Midwest territory. You'll drive business development, manage key customer relationships, and lead a high-performing sales team to deliver innovative solutions in HVAC controls, automation systems, and energy management for commercial buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead regional sales operations and drive revenue growth in alignment with national strategy
• Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders including MEP consultants, contractors, end users, and channel partners
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across vertical markets including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Provide strategic input on product positioning, pricing, and market expansion
• Coach and support a team of Account Executives and Sales Engineers to achieve sales targets
• Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure competitive advantage

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience in B2B sales within building technologies, smart buildings, or automation solutions
• Strong network across the Midwest region and deep understanding of the local market
• Strategic mindset with hands-on ability to drive pipeline and close complex deals
• Leadership experience with a track record of mentoring and developing sales teams
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Willingness to travel throughout the region as needed
