Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join a leading Facilities Management company based in Atlanta, GA.

The Role:

To lead complex projects from initiation through completion. This role involves planning, coordinating resources, managing risks, and maintaining clear communication with all stakeholders.

Some travel to remote sites may be required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all phases of project management including procurement, contracting, scheduling, budgeting, execution, and closeout.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, identifying resource needs, timelines, and financial requirements.
  • Host and facilitate regular project meetings to align team members and stakeholders.
  • Communicate project goals, updates, challenges, and expectations clearly across teams and leadership.
  • Oversee vendor management, including procurement, selection, coordination, and performance monitoring.
  • Identify project risks early, conduct risk assessments, and create mitigation and contingency plans.
  • Ensure contract compliance throughout all stages of project execution.
  • Track project performance against established milestones and budgets; take corrective action as needed.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring quality and timeliness.
  • Coordinate closely with internal teams (engineering, finance, operations) to integrate efforts and maintain alignment.
  • Prepare and present project reports and updates to senior leadership and external stakeholders as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
  • 5–10 years of relevant experience; equivalent combinations of education and experience considered.
  • Preferred certifications: LEED AP, PMP, or CCM.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools (e.g., MS Project).
  • Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and time management skills.
  • Experience in renovations, electrical/mechanical construction, is a plus.
  • Ability to navigate complex organizational dynamics and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
