Job Description

CyOne, Inc. is seeking a Systems Engineer with a background in Software or Systems Engineering to support a long-term Department of Defense (DoD) mission. This role requires a professional comfortable working in a dynamic environment with direct interaction with military stakeholders, end users, and government decision makers. Candidates must be U.S. Citizens with an active TS/SCI clearance and be willing to travel up to 33% of the time.

In this position, you'll contribute to the design and refinement of complex military systems by applying engineering principles, modeling methodologies, and domain knowledge in Intelligence and Electronic Warfare (EW). Strong communication skills and the ability to convey technical information to large, diverse audiences are essential.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with users and program stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical documentation.
• Develop, assess, and refine system-level architectures using SysML, UML, or MBSE tools and methodologies.
• Provide briefings and technical input to program management and customer representatives.
• Contribute to ongoing development efforts in Intelligence and EW systems.
• Participate in site visits and program reviews, approximately 25–33% of the time.
• Collaborate in a hybrid/remote environment with occasional in-person meetings (Orlando-based coordination expected occasionally).

Required Qualifications:

• U.S. Citizenship with an active TS/SCI clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
• 5–7 years of experience in Systems or Software Engineering
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and in teams, and adapt quickly to mission needs
• Demonstrated ability to learn and apply new processes, particularly in military intelligence and EW domains

Compensation details: 120000-140000 Yearly Salary
