Warehouse Operations Leader – Milford, MA

Biotalent is seeking a highly motivated and team-oriented Warehouse Operations Leader on behalf of a leading life sciences organization in Milford, MA. This key leadership role is essential in managing warehouse operations, optimizing material flow, and driving continuous improvement through Lean Transformation. The successful candidate will oversee a team of direct labor employees and a supervisor, ensuring efficient inventory control and seamless distribution processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Foster a zero-incident safety culture through risk mitigation and behavioral safety programs.
• Oversee Receiving, Repacking, Picking, and Shipping operations, leveraging SAP for inventory accuracy.
• Drive performance management, continuous employee development, and strategic goal setting.
• Standardize operational procedures, utilizing visual management tools and best practices.
• Implement KPI tracking systems to monitor safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance.
• Lead resource planning and scheduling activities, ensuring efficiency and adherence to FIFO/LIFO principles.
• Improve coordination with distribution centers, enhancing traceability and accuracy of shipments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in planning, inventory management, procurement, distribution, or production management within a manufacturing environment.
• 7+ years of experience leading direct reports with a strong focus on team development.
• Advanced proficiency in SAP APO and Microsoft applications is highly desirable.
• APICS CPIM certification and Lean Manufacturing expertise preferred.
• A strong background in warehouse safety is a must.
• Exceptional problem-solving, interpersonal, and leadership skills with a hands-on approach.
